The Company

A bit about the Old Au Sable family of companies.

We’re a small group of folks that got together to buy, preserve and improve a true landmark property located just a few feet from the Au Sable River, and to continue an eight decade tradition of being a great fly shop. How does the saying go… location location location, we’re really blessed.

We believe in this great town, we love our big beautiful riverside building and our little business that isn’t so little anymore.

We all work very hard with a strong belief in what we do. Like everyone we have our days, but in the end, we wouldn’t do anything else.

We deal with people that are taking a bit of time off to go fly fishing – in other words – happy people. It’s our job to keep them in that frame of mind. Generally it’s not too hard.
