The Double Bit axe is specifically designed with one finely sharpened "felling edge" while the second blade is ground slightly blunter, and used for knots and cutting near the ground where a finely sharpened blade is more likely to be damaged. The working axe has a 35" straight hickory handle with a swell-knob at the bottom of the handle to prevent slipping. Includes grain leather sheath and Axe Book.
