Hello to everyone at Old AuSable Fly Shop. I just wanted to thank you for being such a great help last week when myself and my two cousins game up for a few days to do a little Michigan trout fishing.

I have been in your shop several times since you have been there. Every time I have come into your store, you have bent over backward to help me in making my fishing trip a success. You are professional but also casual in the way you treat your customers. I've been involved in customer service for the last thirty four years and am familiar with what customers like and don't like. You've got it going.

This last week I forgot my wading boots at home (Toledo, OH) and was up the proverbial creek without a paddle. I needed a pair of boots desperately. You were sold out of most of your boots in my size. However, you found a pair in the back room that someone had put on hold but never picked them up. You snooze you lose. So, I got them, and you didn't rip me off. Thank you. My trip would have been a drag if I would have had to fish from shore. You are always willing to help out in fly selection, where to fish and how, even though we weren't using your guide services. Again thanks.

One of my cousins had flown in from Colorado and really thought you have a great store. With this economic slide were in, I am choosing not to participate and I hope you do the same. Your prices are reasonable and competitive and I plan on doing some of my fly fishing shopping through your on-line store. I am a firm believer in helping independently owned fly shops stay in business. Now that I've found one I really like I plan on supporting you the best I can. Hang in there. Thanks again for all your help and making our fishing a little more enjoyable.
